Q11：申請休學起訖日期及退費標準(What are the start and end dates for applying for suspend, and what are the refund policies)？

1. 申請時間：學期開始日起（上學期為8月1日；下學期為2月1日）至當學期期末考試開始前7日（依行事曆所訂之日期）止，但研究所學生已修畢應修學分且當學期未修課（不含論文）者，不受此限【可於每學期結束前(上學期為1月31日；下學期為7月31日）至註冊組辧理】。

1. Application Period: From the commencement of the semester (August 1st for the first semester; February 1st for the second semester) until seven days prior to the final examination of the semester (as specified in the academic calendar). However, graduate students who have completed the required credits and are not enrolled in any courses (excluding thesis) during the semester are exempt from this restriction and may apply before the semester concludes (January 31st for the first semester; July 31st for the second semester) at the Registration Division.

2. 學雜費退費標準：
(1) 學生於註冊日含當日前申請休退學者，免繳費；已收費者，全額退費。
(2) 學生於註冊日之次日起至上課未逾學期 1/3 申請休、退學者，退還學雜費 2/3 。
(3) 學生於上課日之後逾學期 1/3 ，而未逾學期 2/3 申請休、退學者，退還學雜費 1/3 。
(4) 學生於上課之後逾學期 2/3 申請休、退學者，所繳各學雜費，不予退還。

2. Tuition and Fees Refund Policy:

(1) Students who apply for leave or withdrawal on or before the registration day are exempt from payment; if fees have already been collected, a full refund will be issued.

(2) Students who apply for leave or withdrawal from the day after registration until no more than one-third of the semester has elapsed will receive a refund of two-thirds of the tuition and fees.

(3) Students who apply for leave or withdrawal after one-third but before two-thirds of the semester has passed will be refunded one-third of the tuition and fees.

(4) Students who apply for leave or withdrawal after two-thirds of the semester has elapsed will forfeit all tuition and fees paid, with no refunds granted.
